While Leeloo is taking a nap, I have been baking 5 kinds of cookies, been shopping all the presents, working and making travel plans.
I also got a tattoo.
I bought a fake tree, tiny, yes but I couldn’t fit anything else in.
Okay, fine…he is still cute.
But Leeloo just does it better.
Are you all set? I am (fine, I have to wrap the presents, but I hate wrapping presents…I am not the best at it). Plus it’s only 12 days. I only wish the weather would be winter-y. It’s so warm that the trees have started blossoming again.
Guess who’s not on vacation? Yours truly, because who hurt her foot while grocery shopping? Yours truly. I didn’t even do anything. Just came home and couldn’t walk. So horseback riding is out of the question and I’m depressed.
So…I played a bit with the new remote control I bought for my Canon (after I dropped the Macro lens yesterday on the stone floor and now it won’t screw onto the body properly). It’s just not my month.
Are you ready?
Here we go:
I’m done. Hopefully I’ll be able to walk enough to go on a photo walk or two.
I told you before, I was moving and it all took so much longer than expected, with Murphy’s Law being in full force. I spare you the details. But it’s done. I only need to add some decorations, such as paintings. But I thought I’d give you a little insight into how I live.
Living room with desk. And random Amazon box. Ahem.
Cat tail and I need a place to put the water bottles.
Bedroom with lots of IKEA and cat sleeping places.
I inherited this lovely little sideboard from my great-grandmother. Esprit sunglasses, old picture of my granddaughter.
Another view of my IKEA desk, with my iMac, another lovely sideboard from Maison du Monde and my beloved lamp.
My dining “room”, view from my sofa.
The kitchen. Tiny. Cramped. No window. IKEA, too.
The cats are already calm and at home.
Wesley is confused by the bird. Another lovely old sideboard, from my aunt. We only changed the fabric. I love it and it’ll hold my (as visible) jewelery and make-up because my bathroom is windowless. I call my bedroom lamp the ‘Cybermen’-lamp. 🙂
It’s all not a bit rough but I’m getting there.
